Premium Olive Oil Tastings

All tastings can be done in any of our venues (Mijas, Marbella, Ojen, Málaga, Wine Cellars…) as well as in other venues in Spain. Our Sommeliers will bring any materials needed for the tasting.
The most famous tasting needed after wine. Spanish olive oil is the ultimate product (along with Iberian ham), well known to us and many of our community partners. It’s impressive to taste some of more than 400 varieties we have in Spain, olives of different sizes, textures, colors ... early and late yields which give different aromas and flavours, oils , for cooking ... differences between extra virgin and orujo, including Arbequina or Picual etc ... Essential.

Team Building Games

When we choose a Team Building event, we arrange a series of activities so that members of a group can interact outside the workplace in order to be defined as a team. This way they can determine their mission, understand their common objective and learn more about each other.

To work effectively as a team and succeed, the first step is to define the type of group we belong to. All members must be clear about the goals, what roles everyone fills, who should work with whom and what strategy to follow.










Blind Wine Tasting Team-Building

The group will be divided into teams.
Every group will have everything needed for the tasting (glasses, napkins, bread sticks, etc.)
Each group has a map of Spain at their table with the regions marked (see attached) and pens.

The sommelier makes a small 10-15 minute introduction on the most popular regions, including the area of Malaga, as well as a brief introduction to the wine regions and their qualities.

We present 4 different wines with labels removed / covered and teams have to taste, trying to guess what region they belong to, and discuss their response.

The sommelier gives advice, only informally, at the tables. One of the wines is to mislead and maybe not even Spanish. (This is advised at the beginning)

Then, the teams have to put a price on each wine. (10 minutes).
Sheets will be scored as a group, reviewing the wines one by one and then revealing the price of each bottle.
It's a good idea to have a fairly cheap wine, two in the middle and a more expensive one.

Cheese Tasting Team-Building

The group will be divided into teams.

Each group will have everything needed for the tasting (cheeses, glasses, napkins, bread sticks, etc.)

We present 4 different cheeses with labels removed / covered and teams have to taste, trying to guess what region they belong to, and discuss their response.

The sommelier gives advice, only informally, at the tables about cheeses. (Elaboration, fermentation depending on the milk: cow, sheep, goat), different regions, qualities…..
After the explanation, teams have to taste the cheeses, and guess what region or country they belong to. Customers will have 20 min to think about it.

Then, the teams have to put a name to each cheese. (10 minutes).

Sheets will be scored as a group, reviewing the cheeses one by one and then revealing the winner.

Sensory Workshop applied to Wine Tastings

This tasting aims to surprise and bring customers in a very natural way to the sensory world of wineflavour.
The aroma of the wine range is unlimited, but can be summarized in three areas: primary, secondary and tertiary aromas.
These are the aromas of nature, such as the terroir and aromatic Mediterranean flowers, fruits etc..,  the aroma of the conversion from grape juice into wine. These are the aromas of fermentation and finally the aromas of the wine aging in both bottle and barrel.

All these aromas are represented in spices, flowers and other substances, in large format crystal glasses. It is fascinating to see all the complexities which make up a wine.

While the sommelier explains the wines for this event, he/she invites guests to guess the aromas in the wine, so it is very dynamic and exciting, because customers will feel everything that has been explained.
